Software Information
According information from Altera define that The Quartus II software version 14.0 supports the following device families: Arria II, Arria V, Cyclone IV, Cyclone V, MAX II, MAX V, MAX 10 FPGA*, Stratix IV, and Stratix V.
To use the MAX 10 FPGA device family, you must install the 14.0.2. update. The update is available on the Updates tab. To find software versions that support specific device families:
- Use the Software Selector on the Download Center (finds all software versions)
- Refer to the Device Support List (lists last supported software version)
Operating System Requirements
- Disk space: A full installation of the Altera Complete Design Suite v14.0 requires approximately 20GB of available disk space on the drive or partition where you are installing the software.
- If you are running the Bitdefender antivirus software, you should temporarily disable the software during the Quartus II software download and installation process.
