12 VDC to 220 VAC Inverter with IC 4047 Circuit Schematic

Eltronicschool. - The inverter is used to transform a low-level dc voltage into AC voltage 220V high-level example. One example is how the inverter is made with 12 VDC voltage to a voltage of 220 VAC. Usually inverter is used to provide a supply voltage to the electronic equipment that require high-level AC voltage as 220V. Besides facto voltage inverter is also strongly related to the amount of power generated for example is an inverter with an output power of 450 watts.

And in this time we will give you one kind of circuit schematic of 12 VDC to 220 VAC Inverter with IC 4047 as like the figure 1 below.

Description

To create a power inverter with 450 watts then the problem is on how to choose the transformer and its DC source, and it can be calculated using the following power equation:

The basic formula: P (power) = V (voltage) x I (Flow)

POWER TRANSFORMER INPUT = OUTPUT POWER TRANSFORMER

Suppose we want the inverter output power of 480 watts at 220 VAC, the output current to 2.18 amperes, and of course the 12 Vdc input must use 40 amperes. this from the calculation:
220 volts x 2.18 = 12 volts x amperes 40 amperes

From above we can choose a step-up transformer winding character input capable of 40 amperes (40 amperes transformer CT), so just use a DC source capable of supplying 12v Accu eg 70-150 Ah and above (the greater the longer the time the inverter can used, just look for the use of accu formula example in the book New Step I Toyota).
